Lakeside Campsites

Pitch a tent, listen to the lake, sleep like a kid.

Rustic camping at Cave Lake means firepits, frog song, and the kind of dark sky you forgot existed.

Camping the old-fashioned way.

Our campsites are scattered along the wooded edge of the lake, each one tucked into the trees with its own firepit and a clear view of the water. We kept it simple on purpose — this is the kind of camping where the loudest thing at night is a bullfrog, and the stars aren't a metaphor.

Whether you're rolling in for a weekend with the family, posting up for a fishing trip, or staying overnight after a wedding at the park, there's a spot for you under the pines.

The good-to-know stuff.

  • Quiet hours are 10 PM to 7 AM — the wildlife sleeps too.
  • Dogs welcome on leash. Please clean up after them.
  • Firewood is available on-site for a small donation. Please don't bring outside wood — we're protecting our trees.
  • Fishing is allowed from the dock and shoreline year-round. Kentucky fishing license required for ages 16+.
  • Trash goes in the bear-box dumpster up by the gravel lane.
  • Check-in is at the office trailer near the front gate. We're usually there till sundown.

How to reserve

Send us a note through the contact form or give us a ring at (606) 348-7168. We block sites during big event weekends, so the sooner the better — especially for the concert series and Easter weekend.
